This is a very black wool - with a nubby boucle surface texture.

The selvage edge can be used as decorative fringe.
This is a medium weight wool, suitable for skirts, jackets, or dress.
it is very difficult to take a good pic.... So I've included a pic with lighter gray appearance to display the texture.  However the fabric is jet black not gray at all.
