This is a beautiful rayon spandex jersey knit with more of a sheen than I generally see in rayon knits, although I wouldn't call it shiny. This is a nice quality knit, better than you can find at your local hobby store. Average weight for a knit, not sheer or beefy. The ends of this are cut at an angle so you get a bit more than 1.4 yds.
