The burn test on this fabric indicated a blend of natural and synthetic fibers. The weave has a slub texture like dupioni. The colors are very warm and include brown, green, burnt orange, and marine blue. The overall effect is brown. I'm not sure if this was originally sold as an apparel or upholstery fabric, but it could be used as either. It would be wonderful made up in pillows on a leather couch, or made into a loose shirt jacket. There is no stretch or give. The stripes are parallel to the selvedge, which is a bit unusual. This is yarn-dyed fabric.
