This dress-weight fabric has a pebbled, even rough texture. Based on the hand feel, I thought it must be a silk crepe or polyester dupe, but the burn test indicated a blend of a cellulose and synthetic fibers. Based on the beautiful drape, I'm guessing it's a rayon blend. Has more body than most rayon wovens.
The fabric has a good amount of yellow in it, and would best suit someone who uses an autumn or spring color palette. (The pictures don't capture the yellow very well, but it's a definite cream, not white or off-white.)
This coordinates really well with the cream rayon faille jacquard. I'm picturing a wedding outfit.
