90% cotton, 10% elastic nylon. 2 skeins/100g/3.5oz/168m/184yd. Hand wash or maching wash cool water on gentle cycle, dry flat or machine dry on cool or fluff cycle, do not put in hot dryer. Recommended needles/gauge = 4-4.25 sts/in on US7/4.5mm - US8/5.0mm needles. THIS YARN IS DISCONTINUED.

This is an amazingly comfy and functional sock yarn! Color is a true jet black, texture is a soft and textural ropey and squishy. Cotton Twirl is 90% cotton and 10% elastic nylon. The elastic content helps it to hold its shape during wear and washing, eliminating the ankle slouch so many wool yarns produce even in the ribbing. Knitters say they love knitting with Cotton Twirl - it feels good during knitting. Easy on the fingers.
