This is a bottom weight novelty cotton woven with a bit of stretch along the lengthwise grain, but none on the crosswise grain. You may want to place your pattern pieces on the crosswise grain to take advantage of the lengthwise stretch. This fabric feels like denim, and would make a great jacket, skirt, pant, or dress. It has a structured drape. This fabric is yarn-dyed, so the stripes are woven in, not printed on the fabric. The colors are black, gray, red, and yellow.
